CALL FOR INTERVIEWEES! Owners, entrepreneurs and everyone in between! I have started a podcast to highlight the various aspects of this industry from the new machines and concrete recipes to the more social aspects like affordable housing and disaster relief and the people making it all happen.... I'm currently accepting interested individuals who would like to come on and discuss any number of topics they might be passionate about. The interview / discussion can be conducted in person or via Zoom meeting as opportunity and safety dictate. Each episode will be pre-recorded and released in a controlled manner. You will have an opportunity to talk about what interests you most, access to the raw and edited versions of the episode by request, shout outs and we'll come up with a few more goodies to help out as we develop the show and receive input from viewers and guests We will launch officially on Sept 04, 2020. Check out some early episodes on Podbean and YouTube now! Leave a comment, or PM me if you're interested!! Got an idea for a show? I'd love to hear it :) #3DPrintTheFuture #3DConstructionRocks! www.3dprintedhomescorporation.com https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNB8FfoC7z8wcYIAZSO9LCA? https://printedhomes.podbean.com/

There is a groundswell of support for what we want to do, build lots of inexpensive, functional homes. https://thetyee.ca/Analys//08/19/Tiny-Homes-For-Unhoused/
The City of Perth, Ontario has taken a bold leadership stance on improving housing supply. Let's replicate this all across the country. Big Kudos to Terrilee Kelford for her efforts on tis one.
The discussion around tiny homes and housing affordability as it affects homelessness has been growing stronger, and those involved, growing in number. To understand how this tech can help in the best ways possible, we first need to understand the roots of the problem. 3D Print The Future, Episode 10! It's not enough to just talk about the machines and the tech itself, but what do we do with it that will move humanity forward as a whole? ... #support3Dprintedconstruction #tinyhomealliancecanada https://www.tinyhomealliance.ca/ #helpfortheinvisiblepeople https://invisiblepeople.tv/ #homesforeveryone Follow me on PodBean: https://printedhomes.podbean.com/ Subscribe on YouTube and click the Bell Icon to get notified when new episodes go live ;)
Good things happening in Mexico. Next up ... Canada!
Here is a Canadain group that is doing great work to make housing more affordable to more people. https://www.tinyhomealliance.ca/about/
A recent presentation to the CMHC Expert Community on Housing by Erik Janssen and Gil Amdurski of STEP offered a lot of incredible information about micro-housi...ng, and some telling statistics about consumer satisfaction for micro-living tenants. According to their research findings, of over 4000 surveyed current or past tenants of micro-housing, the response among single people was very positive, with many noting their satisfaction with living in a micro-home. Another interesting finding was that satisfaction was generally at par for both those living in micro-units and those living in more conventional housing designs. This presentation also highlighted the lack of micro-living and tiny home living consumer data that we have to pull from, calling on more researchers to take up the call post-COVID 19. It will be interesting to see what comes next, and we will be monitoring the findings and assisting in that data collection wherever possible. Stay tuned! 3D Printed Homes Corporation (3DPHC) now has its own You Tube channel. Because it's new, it has only a little content at the moment, but that will improve regularly. Please check it out and subscribe in order to stay abreast of what we, and others in the industry, are doing. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNB8FfoC7z8wcYIAZSO9LCA

We Provide Housing | The global housing shortage is currently huge and this problem is only getting bigger and bigger! To address this, we started the developme...nt of housing concepts. Recently in assignment of the Dutch housing corporation Area we further developed our Lyve Housing Concept. Housing enables living These houses - which are addressing PMC II and PMC III (product market combinations; well known concepts for Dutch housing corporations) - are ideal for small households, and elderly who prefer living on the ground floor. The first house will be built in September 2020 in the Netherlands - and the same design is also used in other countries where we deliver our 3Dprinters - and support with Design & Engineering. Yet, it is not about 3D concrete printing but rather about developing a smart building installation concept. Making use of high insulation values and smart installations creating highly energy efficient houses. This, together with hybrid structural principle, enables fast on-site assembly of the building. All components are precasted in our factory (acting as construction hub) in the Netherlands. Information like the principal details of the building connections, structural calculations and method statements coming out of this assignment are being added to the CyBe Lybrary! #Global #Housingshortage #Homebuilder #Construction #Hightech #Robotics #ABB #3Dprinting #Concrete #Learningbydoing #ACADEMY #Justdoit #Rhino #Rhinoceros #CHYSEL #ARTYSAN #Parametricdesign #industry4 #Research #Havefun #Beamazing
