Using the Data from a #Creaform #Handyscan and aligning the data from our #mantisvision #f6smart data in #Geomagic #DesignX The data sets were within 2mm alignment. The data is used to give metrology measurements of the machined turbine housing and Volumetric area of the bunker where a refurbished turbine will be installed. The bunker was 3.6m x 1.8m x 2.5m. Last week were called on to do some dimensional inspections on some 36" diameter pipe flanges. Each end was to be scanned and inspected to the supplied CAD model and drawing. We scanned the pipes with our Creaform #Handyscan 700 and performed the inspection with 3D Systems Geomagic #ControlX software. We had to do 10 reports on the various pipe ends and with Control X all we had to do is complete the first report and after that just replace the measure data to generate a new ...report.
