We don't know how long it takes to remove a collapsed bridge and replace it with a new one but we're sure to find out! 2018 will be an interesting edition of the Three Port Tour (number of ports to be confirmed...)

Amazing and inspiring ride by Ed Veal - 735km in 24 hours at Forest City Velodrome. The cycling community has really shown its strength and spirit this weekend, coming together to support Ed and the FCV. Great work by him, supporting riders, donors and of course all the dedicated volunteers - those who helped out to make this weekend possible and the countless volunteers who have been there since the track opened.

Head to the FCV this weekend to cheer Ed Veal on in his attempt to set the 24-hour track distance record! He and other riders setting personal challenges will be there from 11 a.m. Saturday through to the same time Sunday. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OUR RIDERS - 2018 was yet another banner year! Amazing weather - lots of fun on new routes - and so many riders showing great skill, determination and strength in completing their challenges, 50, 100, and 160. We so appreciate the work done by all our volunteers and contributions from our sponsors to make the journey as pleasant as possible (of course much more pleasant without the Pleasant Valley Hill). Were taking the evening off to relax, have a refreshment or two and soak in the day. A more detailed follow up and photos will follow tomorrow. Thank you for another great year!

Me and my friends, when we got on our bikes, we would just ride, he recalled. Sometimes we would even get lost, because wed be gone for so long. But there was a sense of joy and comfort. There was nothing that really could stop us. We felt like we were on top of the world.

Side note - we love how they love their bikes on Stranger Things and get that some people think riding bikes is a strange thing. But of course they're the strange ones.

Beer & Mexican Food at the finish zone this year! Does that not sound like the GREATEST THING EVER??! There will be a couple types of beer, coolers and mexican food available for purchase when you get in from the ride. The Aylmer Kinsmen Club will be serving the beer and Mennomex is making burritos, tamales and nachos.... We will continue to have our usual free water, freezies and watermelon waiting for our riders at the finish.

MAPS/ROUTES: Route maps will not be posted before the ride. The roads are well-marked and we get great feedback on the markings each year. Detailed maps with distance markers are handed out at the registration tents to consult if necessary. We wish construction projects in the county and all three municipalities could be put on hold for a week, but unfortunately that is not the case. Every year we get one or two last-minute surprises that require quick changes. Roads that hav...e been swept/marked Friday morning have been resurfaced Friday afternoon. For this reason, we do not post Strava, Ride with GPS, etc. If you have any specific questions about the route feel free to ask.
