The Cadet Program provides a safe yet challenging environment for youth through dynamic and engaging training. Junior cadets learn to follow, while senior cadet...s learn to lead making a plan, organizing tasks, managing team members and reflecting on their successes and mistakes. What sort of training in Cadets prepares you to be a leader? ( taken pre-COVID-19 restrictions)
Last week, we saw Percy's Periodical, so here's the History of LCdr Percival Quincy Penguin, as read when he was presented to the CO of RCSCC Terra Nova. Take a read through, LCdr Penguin had quite the career in the RCN!

Virtual Training continues tomorrow! If you're looking to join, send us a message. There's always room for more cadets!

Last night, our Phase 1 and 2 cadets learned the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, and as you can see in the screenshot, our Phase 3-5 cadets played some Naval Term Trivia! Without looking it up... Do you know what those two pennants represent? Do you know what they mean together?
Virtual training continues tomorrow night! Details are posted in the members' group. If you or someone you know is interested in joining Sea Cadets, feel free to contact this page for more information!
Last night's first Virtual Training was a success! Keep watch for next week's link which will be posted to the member's group. There were only a couple of technical issues which we are working out, and here's last year's Virtual Annual Ceremonial Review video by SLt Boland that we shared. Be sure to complete your COVID-19 safety training course, and we'll see you next week!
