Around the clock traffic monitoring will continue at the Metlakatla dock. To accommodate grocery shopp...ing two ferries will run every Wednesday to take one person per household into town, with the priority being for Elders and those without boats. A run for Elders will depart from Metlakatla at 8:30 a.m. and return from Prince Rupert at noon. A second ferry will depart at approximately 12:15 p.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. Shoppers are expected to return on their scheduled time to allow for physical distancing and capacity considerations.
