Today we set up a new micro PoP, or Point of Presence, to service the homes, businesses, and Band offices in the Waywayseecappo valley. This system will provide reliable, unlimited Internet service at speeds better than 100 Mbps.

Good morning! Last night's Internet outage lasted from about midnight to 6:15 this morning. It was caused by power outages in downtown Winnipeg, which were the result of a fire at a Manitoba Hydro power station. Our upstream provider will be making a small change this evening, around 10pm. You may experience a short interruption in service at this time. This will not affect all customers. In order for the new settings to take effect immediately, you will need to reboot your router after your Internet stops working. If you do not reboot, your router should get the new settings 10-15 minutes after your service stops working. If it still isn't working by 10:30, reboot your router. If that still doesn't fix it, please text or call Steve @ 204-821-4007. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We've finally gotten our in a row, and you can now sign up for our paid Wi-Fi service at Rossman Lake. Our service covers the sites between the first hole and the lake, and sites on the east side. You can visit 45networks.ca/lakewifi to sign up. If you want to sign up from Rossman Lake after May 31, connect to the 45 Networks Signup network. It will allow you to visit the link above, and to receive an email with your password(s).

We've been informed that Shaw has finally dispatched a tech from Winnipeg to fix the issue in Shoal Lake. Unfortunately the outage will continue until at least 1pm today. I'm sorry to say that there is nothing we can do about this issue. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Good morning. The current Internet outage started around 12:30 this morning. The Shaw fiber connection from Shoal Lake to Winnipeg is currently down. This affects 45 Networks Internet, the Park West School Division Internet, and the other municipalities who have Internet running over the Park West Fiber Optic Coop network, as well as Westman Communications. Unfortunately this one is out of my hands, but I'll keep you posted. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Hydro had the power outage fixed about 15 minutes after we got a generator connected. Unfortunately, in a massive coincidence, a radio on the main backhaul link in Rossburn locked up just before we got the generator on, and needed to be power cycled. We'll be investigating the cause of this and likely changing firmware. It will not be service-affecting, as we've already moved customer Internet traffic over to our backup link. Sorry for the inconvenience! Enjoy what's left of your holiday weekend.

We just received notice of a power outage at our Rossman Lake tower site. We expect our battery backup to last until about 10:30, but after that service will be down until Manitoba Hydro fixes the outage. This will affect anyone connected to the Rossman Lake tower, and the Rossman Lake Wi-Fi service. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
