The Auditor General released their annual report today on Ontario's environmental Record: "The Agriculture Ministry cancelled the targets and action plan to improve the health of Ontario’s pollinators and did not notify the public. Species like bees, flies, wasps, and butterflies that pollinate crops and wild vegetation, are critical to sustaining Ontario’s agriculture and natural ecosystems.... Over one-third of our food comes from insect-pollinated plants.
