Indigenous Tourism Alberta (ITA) is excited to be launching a virtual, province-wide Indigenous Tourism Startup Workshop! This workshop was developed in partnership with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada and the Government of Alberta, the Indigenous Tourism Startup Workshop and will take participants through the steps of becoming an Indigenous Tourism Entrepreneur! This workshop is designed with questions and activities for you in regard to working in the Indigeno...us Tourism Industry. Workshop Dates are November 30 and December 1 from 5-7:30 pm (please note, the workshop is BOTH days and you must be able to attend both dates). FM468FN CHRISTMAS HAMPERS: In the spirit of the season, Chief and Council are pleased to announce that the Nation is providing Christmas hampers for on-reserve households to be delivered beginning December 8th. On-reserve members do not need to do anything except to be available at home to accept the hampers. In lieu of the on-reserve Christmas hampers, each off-reserve member households will receive $100. ONLY off-reserve households need to complete this form and each off-re...serve household is only eligible for $100. On-reserve members are not eligible for the virtual hamper as they will be receiving the Christmas hampers to their homes. If you do not have access to a computer and require assistance completing this form, please call the BAND ADMINISTRATION OFFICE at 780-334-2293.

CHRISTINA RIVER ENTERPRISES PER CAPITA DISTRIBUTION PAYMENT Fort McMurray 468 First Nation Chief & Council are pleased to announce the Christina River Enterprises (CRE) Per Capita Distribution (PCD) payment for all FM468FN members for the year ending December 31, 2020. Distribution payments of $500.00 will be issued on Thursday, December 3, 2020.... For audit purposes all members must register by completing a "Request for PCD" form. The form can be accessed by clicking this link (bit.ly/3kEvnNM). Please visit the RELEASES page on our website for more information. Registrations must be submitted by Friday, November 27, 2020 to receive your payment on the distribution date of December 3, 2020. Registrations received after November 27, 2020 will be processed in the new year. Off-reserve members who have not registered for EFTs will have a cheque mailed to them. On-reserve members who have not registered for EFTs will have their cheques hand-delivered to their household the afternoon of December 3, 2020.
