Not so long ago, we talked about an amazing and important event we became finalists of MassChallenge HealthTech 2021. We would like to share other amazing detail about who our team will cooperate with during this program. An important part of participating in MassChallenge HealthTech is work with one of the Champion, a leading specialised organisation which goals coincide with the initiatives and goals of the our team. 4Blind's Champion is the Massachusetts Commission for ...the Blind! The Massachusetts Commission for the Blind is a leading organization operating since 1906 to help people with visual disabilities in their rehabilitation, employment, socialization and independent life. It is especially important to note that the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind is committed to introducing new technologies that have the potential to broad abilities of blind and deaf-blind people. As noted by David D'Arcangelo, Comissioner: MCB made the most of its allotment: 24 innovative projects led by national and worldwide experts. We are continuing to develop the Braille PAD, a tactile tablet that allows to touch and tactilely examine any images from photographs, charts to geographic maps. This innovation can help in study and work, as well as in the mastering of new professions. The result is a convenient and compact solution with a built-in camera and a fairly large 8-inch field. In the video, our chief technology consultant is Sergei Fleytin, who approves the ergonomics and layout of the navigation ...components on the tablet. His opinion is extremely important for the preparation of the final sample of the device. Work on the Braille PAD is being done with support of Skolkovo and with the participation of the Man&Technologies Lab team. To date, 8 specialists from various fields are involved in the project. We expect to present the solution in the first quarter of next year with detailed specifications and price. Follow the news! Friends, For the first time, the convention of the National Federation of the Blind took place virtually and for us it was a very interesting experience. We were talking with visitors, presenting, answering questions and discussing devices in the online mode. We were pleased to receive a lot of emails with questions and requests for the purchase of our devices, which means we are going in the right direction. Therefore, we hasten to inform you that we continue to improve the Bright Guide application and now you can find the latest update in the AppStore. What is the Bright Guide app? This is a convenient messenger for blind people based on Telegram, which wor...ks perfectly with VoiceOver and allows to be in touch with friends and relatives the most convenient way. Besides making the Telegram usage more convenient, Bright Guide additionally has: - Convenient index search system; - Availability of pre-listening of voice messages; - And full availability in 11 languages. In the current update we: - Improved stability and speed of the application due to updating the library from Telegram and several places in the code to support it, as well as by updating the version of the Swift language and all the product dependencies; - Adjusted the authorization process for new users. Now a separate screen is made for entering the name and surname of the new user. This change will be noticeable to those who have not previously registered with Bright Guide or Telegram; - Thanks to our volunteer, the application is now available in Italian. As part of the St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum a discussion "Cross-Cultural Business Communications. Japan-Russia" was held. The event was organised by ITMO Highpark. The event brought together CEO and Founder of SAMI To Japan Hiroshi Makino, CEO of Team AIBOD Hisato Matsuo and Head of Technosolution Kunjiti Sakaguti. Here were discussed prospects of Japanese and Russian business, possible complexities and specifics of the Japanese and Russian markets. Project... 4Blind closely related to Japan and has an extensive experience of partnerships with Japanese colleges. We shared thoughts that Japanese market for us is not only a platform for entering Asian market in the future, but it is also a reliable and great starting point, with special concerns for each stage of work, where you can get totally reliable partners and where you can create a truly high-quality product. Staying in Japan and talking with Japanese colleagues makes it clear that for fruitful work in Japan you need to learn how to work in Japanese way, to understand the unique philosophy of work here. Project 4Blind has become the winner of the Seasons Tech accelerator program! We’re so happy to get this award and participate in this program, which aimed to support innovative projects possible to change people’s life already today! Seasons Tech accelerator is an excellent platform for development. Expert board includes professionals from various fields, partners of the programs are Business School of Moscow State University, the Government of Moscow, what demonstrate the importance of the program. Professional assistance after the end of competition will help to develope the project avoiding complexities and mistakes on the way to the goals. On 11 November, 4Blind project was recognized as the best of the Swiss-Russian innovative projects. The project was awarded the Suvorov Prize, which has been an important part of joint innovation initiative of Switzerland and Russia for several years. The event was held under the aegis of the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia (Посольство Швейцарии в России / Embassy of Switzerland in Russia) and the Office for Economy and Labor of the Canton Zurich and gathered a large number of representatives of science, business and people who make a great contribution to the development of the economy of both countries. We are very grateful for such a high recognition of our work and look forward to the future development of relations with our Swiss colleagues.

Dear friends, a significant event took place today. We received the first payment for the communication device for deafblind people "Perkins One". This is an important event, which we gonna celebrate twice: payment and delivery. Why are we so happy? Because before that we had only agreements of intent, and now we received a payment and committed ourselves to deliver the device in time. Hurrah! Дорогие друзья, сегодня состоялось знаменательное событие. Мы получили первую оплату за коммуникатор для слепоглухих "Perkins One". Это важное событие, которое мы обязательно отметим дважды: оплату и поставку. Почему мы так радуемся? Потому что до этого у нас были заключены только договоры о намерениях, теперь мы получили оплату и взяли на себя обязательства поставить продукцию в срок. Ура!
