Spent some time interviewing Jenna Carter & Morgan Edwards this weekend from our fall 4e Mobile Studio Tour. We're making a short film about our 3 weekend project and the Mobile Studio. The Studio will be available for artist & musician retreats in 2021 and is going to be a great option for COVID safe artistic work. Jenna Carter is a weaver, basket maker & watercolour artist who made a cedar honeycomb weave for the 4e project and Morgan Edwards is a builder & artist who is designing & building the interior & exterior of the Studio. Such a pleasure to chat to them both about their work. 4elements living arts 4e Elemental Festival Wild Island Weaving Morgan Edwards Renovations

I ask Canadians to be aware of how racism lives and moves and looks in everything around you. Make a personal commitment to change the narrative by listening, challenging racism, educating yourself and sharing your power, space and platforms. Call upon your leaders to include the true history of how this country was founded. Include in the curriculum the past injustices inflicted upon BIPOC. Include the racist Acts and pieces of legislation that helped to oppress BIPOC and continues to feed the Colonial state allowing only a select few to benefit. This is a moment to learn. -- Ontario Regional Chief, RoseAnne Archibald, excerpt from An Open Letter to Canadians: Canada Must Commit to Action against Systemic Racism https://buff.ly/2Bj5piA
