We are very happy with how this turned out, now just waiting on the glass install! But where is the drain? We used a schluter system 32" tile top linear drain right up against the bench. It blends in so well the water will look like its just disappearing into the floor.... Its a great feature to add to the gorgeous contrast in this shower!

Kerdi board vs concrete board/green drywall At 4k Renovations we use only schluter systems products beneath our tile and in our showers. Kerdi board or "the orange stuff" as you will hear us call it, is a non organic material, it will not mold, does not rot and it is fully waterproof. Although green drywall and concrete board are technically "to code" they are not something we will use as they have a tendency to rot and mold. We want to make sure we do it the right way the f...irst time for long lasting results! These pictures show a dry pack shower base with a linear drain, kerdi board and kerdi-band waterproofing tape. This is the last step we take before we set tile.
