Jinya definitely hit the spot after a 14km hike where we had to cross a river in glacial cold water a few weekends back. They have an August promo for Tsukemen (dipping noodles in a thick pork broth with chasu) and Tamago Sando (Japanese egg sandwiches) which aren’t on their regular menu! We haven’t had tsukemen since our Japan trip in December so I definitely wanted to try theirs, which was delicious! The hint of lime added so much brightness and the broth was full of flavour. Tin ordered the Premium Tonkatsu Red which was actually too warm for me after a hike (the super hot weekend with 30 degree days), so I was glad I ended up with the Tsukemen.
