OBIA is pleased to announce the launch of the new Brain Injury Impact Study. OBIA has been conducting research for more than 25 years. Many things have changed ...over the years, including the incidence and impact of concussion being brought to the forefront. For our research to remain relevant, we are transitioning from the current research questionnaire to the Brain Injury Impact Study. There are two versions of the new study, one for Individuals Living with Brain Injury/Concussion and the other, for Family Members and Caregivers. By completing the annual study, participants will receive a FREE membership to OBIA and a participating Community Association. Join OBIA's reseach study and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! For every repost or story share tagging Concussion Advocacy Network, they will donate $0.15 to the collaborative multi-media experience based concussion educati...on project with the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation and the Ontario Brain Injury Association Today we honour the life of Rowan Stringer who tragically passed away due to second impact syndrome during a High School Rugby tournament. Her story serves as a constant reminder on the importance of raising awareness and educating people on the severity of concussions! The money raised from this donation graphic will go towards our efforts to co-produce a 6-part multi-media series that will bring more education to people with lived experience and provide them with evidence-based information to help during the recovery process! Please help raise money for this innovative project by taking a moment out of your day to share this graphic, and let’s work together to #challengethestigma surrounding concussions! @ontariobia @ontneurotrauma #RowansLawDay #Concussion #ConcussionAwareness #TBI #BrainInjury #BraininjuryAwareness #ConcussionAdvocates The Headsup Concussion Advocacy Network pledges up to $1000 dollars for this donation challenge.
