Seven Nursing Sisters, Vic High alumni, are represented by white maple leaves on the 100 year old Great War Banner commemorating Vic High students and teachers who served in World War 1. Thankfully the seven all came home. Many of our alumni did not.

Everything in life takes a team. These two wars awakened in many women the realization that they could do and be anything they chose. When pushed to our limits, as we all are during this pandemic, we learn they weren't limits after all. Thank you to the women who served, for your efforts, and your ability to transcend the horrors of war and bear the losses of so many loved ones.

Congrats to these quick-thinking, compassionate Vic High students. Their instincts to do whatever it took helped save the life of a former student. Thanks, too, to staff who stepped in to help. Teamwork. Outstanding.
