Were busy getting ready for our reopening on September 2nd which brings me to this post. Over the past few weeks Ive been fielding calls from many of you who have questions regarding our re-opening. I thought it might be best to address the most FAQs here on this page. Q. Is it ok if my kids are with me when I come shopping?... A. I would love to say yes but because each and every person will count as part of the 6 allowed by law, it would be best at this time to come when you can shop solo. Q. Are your hours of operation the same? A. No. Like many businesses, we have adapted our hours of operation. We are now open: WEDNESDAY 11am - 6pm THURSDAY 11am - 6pm FRIDAY 11am - 6pm SATURDAY 11am - 5pm Q. I quote "Will you still be serving your awesome coffee?" lol A. Sadly, not at this time. Although we are hoping to be able to again when the situation allows. Q. Where can I park? A. There is no private parking available. Street parking only. Q. When can I bring things in to sell? A. Until we revisit our inventory and are reminded of what we have, we wont be doing any buyouts until at least mid-September. And again - all buyouts must have a booked appt.! Q. Can we try on clothing? A. Yes. And although you are NEVER obligated to purchase what you try on, we do ask that you are mindful that each item of clothing you try on must come off the floor for 24 hours. Hello friends!! It seems like forever since Ive seen you all! Let me just say this.... I HAVE MISSED YOU !! So much has happened since mid-March when we closed due to the pandemic. We were informed in June that our unit at 23 Main St was being sold and we were beyond lucky to find a new location within days right around the corner! Our new home is ... 5 King St. East in Dundas (directly across from the Thirsty ...Cactus patio). There have been many challenges along the way both personally and with Covid related restrictions and at times things were looking pretty bleak. However were happy to say it has all worked out in the best way possible and were super excited about our re-opening!! The layout of our new home is quite different and we might have to do some rearranging once we are open for business. We wont know for sure until we have been open for awhile so please bear with us. As often happens, along with new beginnings come new changes and protocols. We are following the pandemic guidelines closely and will relax the new policies when its appropriate to do so. Until then, here is what to expect as we begin this new journey on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 !! *By law, masks will be required. * Appointments MUST be booked for all buyouts. (Sorry, we cannot accomodate walk-in buyouts at this time.) * We are limited to 6 customers in the store at a time therefore there might be a wait/line-up to get in. We kindly ask you to consider this limited allowance when planning your visit. * If you are feeling unwell, have been in the company of anyone with Covid 19 symptoms or have travelled from another country in the past 14 days, we ask that you postpone your visit. Hello everyone! I hope this finds you all enjoying the summer as much as can be expected as we navigate this new normal! I cant believe we are nearing the end of July - I know most of you are wondering whats going on at 7th Heaven! It has been an enormous challenge to get moved with all that this past couple of months has thrown at me and the world in general. I had hoped to be open long before this but the reality is, between Covid, my moms passing (and all that entails),... the heat, and moving from an open concept to something very different, it is taking much longer than expected. It has required a lot of brainstorming but were getting there. Remember ... I only found out at the beginning of June that wed have to move and we were completely unprepared! Thinking wed open before summers end was a bit unrealistic since because of Covid weve decided to stay within our little bubble and not engage outside help. (But thank you to those who offered to help - we love you! <3) So, its been decided we will be opening on Wednesday, September 2nd. Until then we will not be doing any buyouts or making any appts for buyouts. Once we get in, well have a better idea of how everything will work under the new normal and will begin to make appts then. I apologize to anyone looking for summerwear; we will have some new summer pieces but will mostly be moving into early fall by the time we get there. Thank you all for your patience. We miss everyone and cant wait to be back in the swing of things in our new digs. It will be special, I promise! Cant wait to see everyone! xoxo Beth

Many of you have inquired over the past few years about my parents. Ive decided to share this post from June 27th, 2020 - my moms 98th year. Thank you for your concern over the years. She is now at peace. <3 Heaven gained another angel today when my mom passed away peacefully in her sleep just after midnight with my dad by her side, right where hes always been. ... She is no longer a prisoner of Alzheimers but instead is enjoying a reunion with our loved ones gone before; we know because we can hear the laughter from here! So I know many of you have been wondering about the future of 7th Heaven and if/when we will open again. Let me just say this.... Im sorry.... it was never my intention to be closed this long. Because of the layout of the entryway to the store, I was unable to open until the must-have-a-street-facing-front-door-to-reopen-legally restriction was lifted, and its still in place as of this posting. BUT.... in the midst of all of this came a stroke of good luck, or more likely..., divine intervention. As some of you know, Ive been looking to relocate for a number of reasons but primarily because my landlord wants to put my unit up for sale. Well guess what?? I have found another location and will be reopening in July. An exact date hasnt been determined yet - Im hoping for the first but it might be midmonth. I will be sure to post when I know for sure! My new location will be (drumroll please! )... 5 King St. E in the former Browns law office, across from the Thirsty Cactus patio!! Im so excited! There is much talk right now about retailers reopening vs remaining temporarily closed. Clearly, it will all really depend on the mindset of the shoppers. Im curious about the opinions of my 7th Heaven family. What do you think? Will you come back in to shop when the time comes? Will you stick with online shopping? I was very torn about whether or not to open the store this week but I have let common sense prevail and I will remain closed for at least this week. Ill continue to keep everyone posted with further closures here on Facebook. (I would VERY MUCH appreciate any shares of this notice so I can reach as many people as possible!) Hello everyone! Wed like to share with all of you that we are taking every necessary precaution to keep 7th Heaven as sanitary as possible during these crazy times. As part of this effort were also putting a few new, temporary policies in place. With everyones health in mind, and until further notice, our washroom will no longer be available to customers.
