Newman had been fed by caring humans since weaning and when we trapped him for TNR he quickly showed us his big purr and love of cuddles and soft places to sleep. Sometimes all you need is a friend . Felix and Marble are two lovely fosters who started out living rough outside but have adapted to inside life and humans. Both have sweet natures, enjoy soft pets and snuggling each other. Timid and a little nervous with new humans we feel they would over time do well together in a new home without other pets. Ruby Sue has discovered the aquarium channel!

We said good-bye to this sweet face this morning, as our friends at Fixed Fur Life took her in (thank-you Darlene!) We so loved our 24 hours of snuggles and purrs with this absolute sweetheart but know it is much better that she is cared for and adopted out by an organization who has other small kitten friends she can play with, learn from and maybe even be adopted with. We have our hands full helping the older kittens and cats fighting for survival in our small colony we att...empt to manage, TNR or socialize and find homes for. People often ask us why we let all the sweetest, little ones go. The answer is simple. Rescue is not about us or our wants. It is helping those creatures who can’t help themselves and doing the best for them, not us. They all touch our hearts and give us the push to keep doing what we do. And in this year of so much uncertainty, miscommunication and discord we like to think the kindness we show these animals helps put some positive vibes and good karma out in the world. We encourage anyone feeling lost in 2020 to consider reaching out and finding ways to help others or spread unexpected joy. You will be amazed how it helps reset your state of mind. Sweet, tiny babe discovered outside on its own this morning. Approximately 4 weeks old.Have reached to see if we can get it to a local rescue who takes in such tiny babies. For now it is safe and warm with a full belly and a cozy magic bag. Gorgeous colour and the sweetest purrs.

Life is never boring for us. This little feral beauty approximately 3-4 months decided all on her own she wanted to be rescued and come inside. Sweet as can be and super loveable. Not typical behaviour at all for a feral kitten but we are enjoying it . She will be available for adoption after she is spayed. Meet Luna .
