Commemorating Rizal on his Martyrdom anniversary today at Jose Rizal Monument in Markham, Ontario with wreath offerings, all avid Rizalists, under the Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians who worked hard to make this iconic Canadian landmark possible, thanks to our special guest Consul Edwin Mendoza for gracing this occasion. Newly added at the back of the monument is the acknowledgement plaque. It was freezing cold rain but it stopped for our celebration, then we proceeded to warm up at Tim Hortons... cheers!
