On this 20th Anniversary of 9/11 and as reflect on the events of the day, here is an excerpt from my poem The Unknown Faces: "Too many died on that unforgettable morning in September. .........We never heard of those people, the ones that remain nameless to a nation,... but were loved by many. And will be truly missed by all they have touched during their lives. ....." See more

32nd Poem Published Intricately Woven Glistening against the sun... yet still camouflage most of the time. Who knew you had an inner ninja waiting to come out until you walk into one. Than look out everyone! So fine and delicate to the eye and at the same time, strong as hell. No force of Mother Nature will bring it down. Its fall will come at the hand of man. -Appears in The Weekly Avocet Issue #455 August 22,2021

Nothing beats checking your emails once you get up and see that you have gotten 2 more poems published thanks to The Avocet who are great supporters of my poetry.
Poem composed of The Young Fables song titles. Each line contains a title which starts with a capital letter. Hoping to get back down to Nashville in a year or two to get them to sign a copy for me.
Today was pretty productive for a Saturday. Finished two poems that were started a couple weeks ago and sent off one submission.
Had a decently productive morning. Got two submissions sent out and one contest entry. Now to wait....or continue waiting as I have six active submisisons out there now.
I can now say song titles from The Young Fables were used for this poem :)
Not my poetry but just finished Johnny Cash Forever Words and highly recommend it. There are some amazing poems in the collect and helps prove just how great of an artist Johnny Cash was.

Not much of a surprise as to what inspired this one. It was inspired from laying in bed one night and listening to the rain falling.
Love being able to go into my local Indigo and purchase a poetry journal that has my poems published in it!
