Thanks to the SOS team from Bradford Community Church for cleaning up all the weeds in our parking lot! Guess we can’t use Welcome to the Jungle as our theme song anymore. #SummerOfService Bradford Community Church

Almost ready for our 12th annual Christmas Wishlist dinner - Covid style!
This is Ryan. He’s owned Ryan’s Landscaping for 27 years and we just met him and his co-worker Steve yesterday when they came to our rescue! The Out of the Col...d Cafe operates out of the Old St. Mary’s building that the town of Bradford has allowed CrossTrainers to use since 2003. The building is old but its still a gift we are incredibly thankful for. One of the quirks of the building is a random extra concrete step that is a trip hazard when you come in the entrance the Hub Youth Centre has used for years. It wasn’t until we started using it as the main entrance for the Cafe and realized seniors were struggling to get up and down the stairs that our concern grew. This Sunday is CrossTrainers Christmas Wish List pick up and that entrance is where everyone will enter. I expressed my urgent concern to another amazing volunteer team member, Doreen Johnston and she said ‘she knew a guy’ Doreen gave Ryan a call on Wednesday and he came by after work to take a look. Within 24 hours he and Steve came, removed it and patched it up!! AMAZING!!! We’re super thankful for Ryan’s generosity and skills!
