Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I will be away from the clinic until November 29th. If you are in need of a massage, the wonderful ladies at Ashby house are all fantastic and would be happy to help. You can also pre-book appointments together with me when I get back on our Jane app. Have a great two weeks, and I look forward to seeing you all when I get back!!

I am happy to let you all know that I am now certified in the first level of Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage technique. This technique focuses on helping to support our body and its lymphatic system. This can be when it has been overwhelmed by additional fluid from an accident / injury, surgery, or other stressors on the body. This light and gentle technique can help with symptoms related to headaches, migraines, post dental surgery recovery, concussions, acne rosacea, chronic ...sinusitis, sprains, strains, bruising, fractures, and much more. If you have any questions about Vodder (MLD) and how it's applied or how I can help with any of these conditions - please don't hesitate to contact me. https://youtu.be/YyYvtA8qo1g

Sending you all healthy and loving energetic vibes right now. Self-isolating for a few weeks has made me realize all the wisdom and creativity of my cat TobI...who continues his daily routine of watching squirrels and sunbathing.

OLD SCHOOL NARRATIVES What if scapular dyskinesis matters less than we think? What if time could be spent on listening, developing therapeutic alliance, assessi...ng meaningful movements, health coaching to empower clients and making exercises specific to their goals? - Scapular dyskinesis can be observed, but our accuracy in measurements is unreliable. - Scapular stabilisation exercises don't correct dyskinesia, but they can still help regardless. - General strengthening exercises are just as effective as scapular stabilisation exercises. Which one gives the person in front of you a more empowering narrative, faster progressions and promotes engagement outside your clinic? Time to update narratives to avoid unnecessary fear around moving so we can focus on getting ripped af. This is so very true... we are more Smyrna just the structures we possess.
