We are making some limited changes to the visitor policy at licensed supportive living and long-term care facilities. Residents who are not required to isolate... can now spend time outdoors, as long as they follow physical distancing and other guidelines. They can welcome a designated essential visitor and one guest for outdoor visits, where space allows. Site circumstances may mean that not all desired visits can be accommodated or happen immediately. Designated essential visitors can continue to enter the facility if a resident is dying or when the residents quality of life and/or care needs cannot be met without the designated essential visitors assistance. All visits must be pre-arranged with the operator and all visitors must follow all guidance and requirements. alberta.ca/COVID19
