Aamcott Pest Control

This is a piliated woodpecker. They’re by far the largest species of woodpecker we have in Ontario and can do significant damage to a tree in a very short period of time. It took less than 5 mins to create this large hole which is approx 3 inches across. This one woodpecker put 5 large holes in one tree in less than 1/2 hour.

We were called because this little rascal was hanging around one of our clients buildings. Not sure what happened to it prior to showing up here but all of the fur was missing from its tail. Other than that it appeared in good health. We had a talk with it explaining why this wasn’t a good location for it and It left and never came back. I’d always heard foxes were smart.

This is a clients basement. A squirrel or squirrels had a great time ripping pinecones apart leaving a huge mess. There was actually a lot more damage than the pictures depict. By the time I got there the offending parties had vacated the premises.
