Alberta Health Services, Government of Alberta, Jason Kenney if any one in any of your groups are willing to discuss how one of these pictures is safer than the... other when it comes to Covid, please reach out. Hockey Arenas have adjusted to using 17000 square feet for family cohort bookings and small private sessions while respecting and following AHS rules and protocols. Skating and hockey provides physical and mental health. Opportunity here to keep this going is being grossly overlooked. I believe people are owed an explanation or reason why one of these pictures is somehow safer and better serving than the other. So far it appears as though it has been assumed that arenas are used only for large gatherings and hockey games. Reach out if you’d like to understand what other purposes arenas can serve. Thank you.
We're missing you as we welcome in the new year! Sit back and relax to this video of calming waves at World Waterpark, and we hope to fill the waves with your smiling faces again sometime quite soon!

Banff National Park - Ice skating conditions have been exceptional in the Bow Valley this year. People have shown up in record numbers to skate on the freshly ...frozen lakes and creeks. Some bodies of water have seen little to no snow so far this year which has prolonged the skating season As always, make sure to check the thickness of the ice before you venture out onto the lake. Although it's possible to be thinner, 10cm or 4 inches is regarded as a safe thickness for skating or walking on ice. Have you ever gone ice skating in Banff National Park? #banff #morainelake #nhl #bowvalleynetwork @paulzizkaphoto
