Altruistic Animal Sanctuary

Please note that the sanctuary doesn't breed just any animal, the animal must be a part of a conservation effort and must also be an excellent example of the breed itself! Our purebred Morgan mare was rescued out of a hoarding situation where she was malnutritioned and scared of her own shadow... she is now finally starting to blossom after several years of hard work, patience and dedication. Although we don’t have a full traditional bred Morgan we have a high foundation bred mare that we are excited about adding to the traditional breeding program! Yeehaw! miniature donkeys are recovering - we are delighted to say we have a few and we will engage our part in helping the breed recover more! It is important to note though, the sanctuary only breeds animals that are of supreme quality and most importantly in need of their population numbers to rise. Our 2 initial donkeys (Adelaide and Dennis) were both rescued out of a bad hoarding situation... both are thriving here at the sanctuary, and to this date Addy has successfully had 2 foals, a girl named Mabel and more recently a boy named AJ!

We are happy to announce Bugsy has grown into such a handsome fella! We got Bugsy from a breeder, he was the runt of the littler and had a terrible case of nesting box eye. No one wanted him... and if they had interest it was because they wanted him to be snake chow or something similar, we stepped in, with tons of TLC, disinfecting and cleaning and loads of time later... we happy to say he looks normal and has regained his sight!
