Do you get up every morning and grumble and complain because you just don’t like your job and wished you could be anywhere else?? Many do. But I do not. I love opening our door every morning to our hungry customers each and every day. Even those that we can not please no matter how hard we try.... We have a few rules for customers. Errors happen, times get extend, we are after all the busiest pizzeria in Greater Napanee and surrounding area. With the best pizza East of Toronto so we are told by travellers. Especially the ones who get off the 401 just for our food. So please if there are errors treat our hustling staff with courtesy and dignity. Their job is hard and can be frustrating enough without being degraded, belittled and yelled at. To our Highly Valued customers here at Aatomic Pizza & Pasta. Thank you for continuing to realize there are always three sides to every story. Theirs, ours and the blend in the middle called the truth. Being so busy the last 7-8 weeks has put a huge stress on our staff who are busting their hiney's to try and keep up every day and every hour we are open. Your patronage is so very appreciated, and also your patience when the phone is ringing faster than we can make orders. It...s a horrible feeling thinking you are letting your customers down, especially when you know there is nothing more you can do than just keep plugging. That you are limited by the amount of food your equipment and your staff are humanly capable of putting out in an hour. Its heartbreaking to sit and watch our staff at times just want to give up because they are giving it their all and just don't feel like they are ever going to gain any ground on the ever increasing pile of orders coming in. It is hard to tell from the other end of a phone just what odds are against us. The pick up customers get to see our board overflowing because the kitchen is full and the ovens are losing temperature and not able to regain heat because they are so hard worked. The fryer that can only hold and cook so may orders in an hour. We sincerely hope that those who can not have the patience to wait on us can be happier wherever they end up. But we will never decrease the quality of our made to order food to save two minutes here and there. That is not worth it to you. This is an extremely hard line to walk, this job is hard and without seeing it first hand a lot will never understand. So here is an offer that will always stand for anyone who wishes to stand in our shoes for a day, an hour or a minute. Come visit us and say "I wanna see what is so hard about this, pizza only takes 10 minutes to make and ten minutes to cook right?" Please come walk a mile in our staffs shoes right now. So with orders today at almost three times a typical Sunday we want to take a moment to thank our staff especially Brenda and Tait for staying well past their scheduled shift end times, Mike for coming in when we cried HELP. And to our highly valued customers who hung in with us even when our order volumes had a delivery time ranging from 75 to 180 minutes. Poor ovens couldn’t hold temperature. We ran out of gravy cheese and Pizza boxes. Cut pizza toppings on the fly to be able to top pizzas as we went through a full days of toppings prep in under 4 hours. THANK YOU for making us here at Aatomic Pizza & Pasta the busiest pizzeria around. If you keep us hopping like this we are going to need expansion QUICK!!!!
