Savings/Design Tip: This is the time of year that you can find great deals on outdoor furniture to plan for next year. I actually designed this vignette when I worked for a major furniture retailer.
Look at all the guests you could sleep with this creative bunk. Depending on the size of the room you could have either double or queen size beds with a twin size loft bed over top. Whether for a cottage that you rent out or for your own kids who like to have sleepovers. This is a great space saving idea and looks good too!!
I can help you make this happen...well, maybe not an actual tree house but the illusion of one...we can all use a little escape during these difficult times. Stay positive, go for a walk in nature, rearrange your furniture or paint a feature wall and if you want a consult rest assured it is with proper Covid measures. Contact AB Consulting
Design tip: It's summer time Canada!! Utilise your outdoor areas as an extension of your indoor living space. Add comfortable seating, flowers and even an area rug to create a beautiful "room" in your yard, patio, deck or even on a balcony.
Design tip: adding simple sheers to your existing window coverings in a complimentary colour & pattern can create an interesting and cohesive design.
Before and after bathroom remodel...like night and day. Instead of a traditional bathroom mirror add something that you wouldn't normally find in this room. It makes the space unique and creates interest marrying the modern with some traditional elements...and all within a set budget. Design by AB CONSULTING.
The colour choices are endless. Think of the fun you'll have changing the vibe of your room with a little paint!! I can help you choose a colour that is just right for your space.

Mid century modern furniture in pastel yellow, soft grey walls and accents, abstract wall decor and...yellow and grey print wall paper on the ceiling to add interest. A great way to add balance and fun to the space. Adding shelving above the sofa provides another way to display your accessories without taking up valuable floor space.
Moving is never fun with a lot of work and stress. I can help you lighten that load with tips, strategies and staging. Whether preparing your home to sell or decorating and setting up your new home...or both!!
Summer time...and the livin' is easy. Now that things are starting to slowly re-open, take a deep breath and enjoy the little things and if you need advice on staging, decorating or a plan to get your house ready to sell I can help. From a safe distance of course.
Understated, minimalist, natural light and the interesting detail on the ceiling creates a beautiful, relaxing space. The "less is more," philosophy.
Rich purple duvet & shams repeated in the print and area rug with soft greens and creams create a sophisticated & luxurious colour palette in this bedroom. The black throw pillow, mirror and lamp makes a statement. Every room should have a bit of black accent in it.
A wet bar in a small nook with a bold wall colour can make that space pop!! You can also re-purpose an old bathroom vanity to create the wet bar...reduce, reuse, recycle...

Rustic comfort with natural light and decor is an inviting combination in this space.
Design tip: Lighting helps set the mood in a space.
An accent wall can divide a space and make it beautiful with colour. This homeowner created a focal point with the accent wall behind the tv. By repeating the same colour accent wall in a nook where the desk/home office space is,on the other side of this living area, creates balance and symmetry to this open concept living space. Don't be afraid of bold colour in small doses...
Design tip: Consider open shelving...you can do this in any space to create a light and airy look.
Design tip: Create interest with your stairway by painting it in bright, vibrant colours.
Bedroom refuge...peace and tranquility. Relax, enjoy your quiet space and clear your mind...
