ABBA Acres Gourmet Garlic

Thank you to all who purchased garlic from us this year! We are now all sold out. No rest for this family yet though, we start planting next week! Stay tuned.... fresh garlic will be available in 11 months.....

Thanks you all for your patience, I’m happy to share that our garlic is ready to go! $14lb for culinary garlic, $18 for seed grade and $7 for a jar of pickled scapes. We’re home this morning and tomorrow afternoon/ evening for pickup. I’ll also be heading to Red Deer with lots of garlic on Monday night and make a stop by the ATB at bower mall between 6 and 7pm. I’ll also stop in Penhold afterwards around 7:30 in front of Penhold Dental. If these times don’t work, please send me a PM to arrange another time.

I just finished cleaning and sorting the first batch of our garlic tonight. The bulbs look great and smell even better!! Culinary Gallic is $14/lb and seed grade goes for $18/lb. If you have pre ordered I will contact you within the next week to make arrangements for pickup. We will have lots more ready by next week so please let me know if you’d like to order some.

We wrapped up our harvest today after 2 scorching hot days. Everything is hanging up to dry and should be ready in 3 to 4 weeks. This year’s crop looks great! Thank you to my amazing family for all your help!!

We harvested small amount of garlic today, found many very nice bulbs like this one! The ground is a bit wet so we’re leaving it a few more days to dry out the field. Harvest will be in full swing by the weekend! Then 3-4weeks to cure and it will be ready to go!!
