SOS - The ABBA Experience would like to introduce Kelly Latimer, Backing Vocals and Percussion. KELLY LATIMER’s passion for music started as early as she can recall from singing in school choirs and teaching herself guitar to more formal vocal training over the last few years. Her pure and natural vocal talent has led her to take part in collaborative musical projects both in the studio and on stage. She continues to broaden and hone her musical abilities and credits m...usic as her tool to get through tough times as well as being the catalyst for so much joy in her life. A lover of all genres of music, you can listen to Kelly on her Youtube channel where she enthralls listeners with her artful interpretations of popular songs. SOS - The ABBA Experience would like to introduce Leigh Turcotte, Backing Vocals and Percussion. LEIGH TURCOTTE does double duty in the band with backing vocals and percussion. Her dedication and love for music started early in her life as she started honing her vocal talents by singing in choirs throughout elementary and high school. Leigh grew up listening and singing the music of ABBA - she is a true fan! She returned to her passion for performing a few years ago, attending Open Mics and fronting a local band from the Brockville area. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she lives by the creed I want to spread love and joy through music while I’m here on earth. Leigh’s favourite ABBA song is Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) it’s fun and a little sassy just like Leigh !

? ? SOS - The ABBA Experience is looking for a back-up vocalist to join our talented and fun team. Be a part of a successful Ottawa-based musical group that accurately recreates the music of ABBA for live audiences. If you think you have what it takes to sing harmonies and perform live, we are looking for you! We are seeking a female singer with a wide vocal range ...and a voice that can blend with five other vocalists. The ability to play a tambourine or other instruments would definitely be a bonus. If you are interested in auditioning for the part, please send a few samples of songs featuring your vocal abilities. The quality of the recording is not critical. Just send us something where we can clearly hear you singing. If you like, pull out your cell phone and record yourself singing parts of ABBA songs. No music needed! Send an email with your recording, your contact info and some background information on yourself (e.g., music that you have sung, any training or performance experience, etc.) to Kevin Wright at @.. We had such an amazing time performing for everyone at Queen St. Fare last Sunday. What a fantastic turnout considering it was Super Bowl Sunday. Gotta love ABBA fans! Thank you Queen St. Fare for inviting us to perform in such a great venue and for your wonderful hospitality!
