Arthur picked up this little hitchhiker on his walk with Dr. Storey today!!! It was found on his routine tick check after his walk and was identified as a black-legged tick, known to transmit Lyme disease. This is a friendly reminder that ticks are active when temperatures are above freezing and the ground is unfrozen.
