Abbeyfield Houses Society of Durham is a non profit organization governed by local volunteer directors. The house is homed by 12 - 15 residents. around 27 hours per month Abbeyfield Durham House Administrator... The contracted House Administrator will meet the responsibility required on their duties with their own time, tools and location. Setting appointments as required. The Abbeyfield Office is available for use unless pandemic or future crisis makes that unavailable. Duties: Manage the Move Ins, Move Outs of residents. Ensure potential residents and other interested people receive current information. Organize open house tours. Ensure new information be passed on to Bookkeeper, new folders created, report the details to the Board. Coordinate with the Bookkeeper. Make Deposits. Review Bank Statements and financial statements. Ensure bills are made available to the bookkeeper, ensure that cheques are signed and ensures payments, documents and letters are delivered to on a timely way. Manage and update paper and online files including G Suite and Dropbox files Manage the Admin, Info and any other email accounts directed Follow up with Maintenance, Suppliers, Health, Food and Labour organizations etc. as required. Connect with Affiliations, Memberships, Sponsors and Service Clubs as required Know residents and their sponsors. Help build relationships between each other staff and volunteers. Support staff, contractors and volunteers and help them, especially those new to the organization. coordinate with staff and Staff scheduling Report/coordinate/support/recommend both the Board and to individual directors as required Organize use of Guest room Support events both in house and to the outside community
