Good Morning Facebook Family!! I need your help once again!! Now that Halloween is over, I'll be kicking my 2nd annual little ...charity "Jodi's Mittens" into high gear. Jodi Martin's birthday is on November 24th. This has now become my yearly tradition. It is a way to celebrate her birthday, honor her memory and help out the community all at the same time. Although we are having a GORGEOUS Autumn, not all of us are lucky enough to have a warm place to sleep and warm clothes to wear. For those of you that didn't get the joy of meeting the coolest person on the planet (aka my sister) (aka 2nd coolest, I was here first) you should know that Jodi was sensitive, empathetic and charitable. The tragedy that took her from this world, is close to those that I will be helping out. Last year I reached out to all of you, my friends and family for a little help, and you did not disappoint. I once witnessed my sister give someone homeless her last 5 dollars. So I'm asking you guys for $5 or $10 or $15 or $20 again to make some packages for homeless people in our community. The packages include a toque, mittens and two pairs of warms socks. Each little package is about $5 bucks to make. Last year I made tons with all of your help and support! The people that accepted them, were SO thankful and appreciative. I've included some photo's of last years little journey, and I'll be doing the same again. If you'd like to donate again or for the first time you can e-transfer me at [email protected] and make the password "Mittens". I'll document the process the same way again this year. Thank you all in advance, let's help out our community again this year! ** If I haven't seen you in a while, I'll gladly accept cash over coffee or a glass of wine **
