My name is Shamsad Rawji and I focus on every child’s need and cater to their individualized social, physical, emotional and cognitive wellbeing. Children become resilient when given the opportunity and the tools to learn and explore. Various daily activities allow children to engage in a group and individually which promotes them to become responsible and independent. Arts and Crafts: Art is a great way for children to learn and be creative. Children will be given the oppor...tunity to create art pieces, explore with different sensory materials and use fine motor skills to create a wide range of projects. Learning Time: Children will be given the opportunity to work with an array of learning and Montessori based materials; including puzzles, blocks and books which will promote independence, motor skills and develop cognitive learning. Children will also learn numbers and alphabets through fun activities. Movement Time: Children are given the opportunity to express themselves through movement and creativity! Through songs, movement and indoor/ outdoor play activities, children will learn and become physically active. Concept Circle: During Concept Circle, children are given a sense of routine and belonging with a morning greeting, talking about what they have learned and reading stories. Time is a great way for social bonding and connections between children and the childcare provider. Most importantly, my home is your child’s home where they will be loved, valued and cared for in a safe nurturing environment.
