Jazzing up our PPE with cute stickers to try to make the kiddos we work with feel more comfortable! Imagine being a 2 year-old that comes for the first time into a clinic, whether it be for speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, etc. and not only are you in a new environment, meeting a new person, feeling shy and unsure because this is all new, but on top of it all, the clinician that greets you is wearing a weird thing on her head, mommy is wearing a mask, the ...ladies at the desk are behind a plastic wall and also wearing masks, you have to clean your hands with a smelly liquid, etc. Children are unfortunately living in this new reality and any small things we can do to make them feel more secure and happy, we will do! #covidlife #makingtherapyfun #makingadifference #itshardonusbuttougheronthekids #ottawahealth #ottawaclinic #ottawacovid #wearmasks See more
