This week members of our Burnaby team spent a very rainy morning cleaning up our local waterway as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. Over the weekend, members of our Kelowna team along with the Okanagan Forest Task Force collected close to 29,100 lbs of recyclable scrap metal from the Okanagan forest area. Over the past 5 years, the task force has cleaned over 115,000lbs of scrap metal found in the forests. ABC Recycling encourages responsible and safe disposal of all metals versus going to the landfill.
