Moving the needle on public policy for people on the autism spectrum with the Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorder Alliance (CASDA). I was recently invited to co-write policy briefs addressed to the Canadian government. Topics: Research and Governance, Dental Health, and others.

Lots of "1st ever"s this week! I led the 1st ever Professional Issue Forum on Autism, at the 1st ever Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists virtual (o...nline) annual conference, which is a very 1st ever in Canada! The Forum aimed to engage stakeholders across Canada to create a five-year strategic plan and shared vision of occupational therapy for people with autism, their parents and family. Great positive feedback so far, and rich data collected to map out next steps. Thrilled to have also co-presented with Jeanette McNalty Brooker and Debi Steadman on measures of occupations in children and youth with autism.
