Wow! With my books open a day and a half Oct is nearly full!! A couple things that will be detailed in the email I will send you (they've come up a few times in the past day so I thought I'd answer here) -Covid prescreen (and another one 24 hrs before your massage)... -My address -mandatory requirements (no exceptions) -do not arrive too early as you will be waiting in your car until I text or wave you in -park in my driveway or directly in front of my house (I have a "difficult" neighbour) -come alone (bylaw/covid safety) -treatments will start on and end on time regardless if you're late or have a laundry list of complaints (I simply won't have the time) -please shower/fresh clothes before coming into my home (please don't run errands prior to coming over either) -I cannot offer you water service for the time being -please do not bring in personal belongings other then necessities (wallet) -I won't have a set schedule until jan 2021. I'm seeing what days and times are popular Also another reminder- I will never know what your insurance coverage is- or any details of your coverage. This is your responsibility. So please look into it prior to your massage or you will have to pay out of pocket and submit on your own accord Cheers! Andréa

So! Exciting news!! I plan on opening my home practice on Oct 1 2020! I'm expecting some hiccups as I am learning a lot all at once so I appreciate your continued patience! I will do my very best to accommodate you all and fit you into my schedule- but please understand I cannot treat everyone at the same time.... I am going paperless so will require that you text me or private message me your email address so I can send you the applicable links. You will need to fill out your health history and read/sign consents and policies online prior to receiving treatment. As you are aware massage will look different- masks, sanitizer and temperature taking are mandatory. And I need more time between treatments to properly disinfect the space. There is also more paperwork for me. So my days will be longer- but I'm so excited to get back to treating!! I miss you all! (All new protocols etc will be detailed in the emails you will receive from me- but I am available if you have any questions/concerns.) I'm still working hard at finishing touches- but it's just around the corner!! Thank you all for the support, encouragement and patience over the past few months- it's been an "experience" lol! Hey everyone!! So I know you all are anxious to get a treatment- as I am anxious to start working!! However it isn't in the cards at the moment- many of you have been reaching out to me to check in- which I'm grateful for- however things are just going at a snail's pace. (Renos- thanks to permits and a shortage/delay of supplies). So at this time I am NOT booking anyone... However I will update you that I have all my numbers to direct bill for all major insurance companies ...(exciting for you all I'm sure!!). I will also have a square reader for any payments necessary but i will encourage cash and etransfer as credit and debit have fees associated (debit is far less than credit- but want to provide this for you for convenience sake). I will be going paperless so will send you more info about that when it comes time. I will be using a program called Noterro. So through their (secured) website is where you will fill out your health history and sign consent/policies/and covid screenings. Also I will add the feature of online booking there when it is more relevant. I will have a tablet and stylus for those that do not have access to a touch screen phone/computer to sign all relevant documents. I have all the approved cleaning products, PPE, new office and treatment space furniture supplies, and new flooring (being installed this weekend/next week)! I have been busy setting my space up and I'm so excited to share it with you all!!! So everyone say a little wish that things move quickly and smoothly from here on out!! Lol! (please!!!!) I have a couple questions for you: -I'm considering offering a 75 min treatment option; would anyone be interested in this? -what days and times are the most favoured? (I have a general idea- but now that I have complete control of my schedule I have a lot more freedom- and would appreciate your input) That's it for now... please post on here or text me with questions/concerns/comments... And please remember to check with your insurance to make sure you're covered for massage- you will have to pay out of pocket and submit otherwise. And remember that masks are MANDATORY. Hello everyone!! I thought I'd reach out to give an "update". So although I'm getting closer to opening I'm still not quite there yet. As you can imagine changing my whole house to accommodate a massage practice in the midst of a pandemic is a slow and frustrating process!! (I assure you I am doing my very best to get practicing!) ... I have completed all requirements set out by my governing body- just waiting for renos to happen and my receive my number from Telus Health (so I can direct bill for you). With all things considered and knowing how slow everything is currently happening, it looks like its going to be another 3 to 4 weeks I do sincerly appreciate your patience as I realize some RMTs are currently practicing and this may be frustrating for you! Please understand I made a huge decision in a short time, the government gave us no "heads up", and I'm starting a home practice from scratch (There is A LOT of work going on behind the scenes). Please take this time to make sure you have your insurance policy requirements in order (Dr's referral etc). I will never know what your policy is- so please make sure you know what is required on your end Extra tid bits: I will be prioritizing clients at first- and hoping to treat families on the same day to minimize risk. Massage will look different with new procedures and policies to keep us safe (I'll explain in upcoming posts) Masks will be required- no exceptions- for both you and I. (If you have difficulty breathing with a mask I'd ask you to perhaps wait until masks are no longer needed) I will be prescreening when you book your massage and again the day of treatment. I will also be taking and recording your temperature. FYI: If your temperature is too high massage will be rescheduled and you will be advised at that time what you are to do (get tested etc) I will give more updates in the next few weeks as I anticipate things coming together quickly and all at once. (Fingers crossed!!!) (I will also update on any changes to procedures etc as they come up- things change quickly and often..) Again I cannot express my gratitude to you all enough! I appreciate those that have offered kind words and support there have been some days that those words helped me to keep going These are strange times but we are getting there! Hi everyone! Bear with me as I venture into unknown territory! (On facebook and my professional life ). I will attempt to keep all massage related information exclusively on this page (exercises, videos, tips, and will also be posting future cancellations/availabilities here as well). I will also use this platform to keep my clients posted on when I will be returning to work. As it currently stands I am awaiting permits (for renovations to be completed in order to provide ...a safe and beautiful space for you). I will also detail what your massage will look like in the future on this page- when it's closer to my GRAND OPENING! (Hopefully in a month- again out of my hands)...
