Alright Humble brag post ....We just had the most epic week at Milner Downs My #Abequestrian girls and their ponies make me soooo proud! Dawn Barrett and ...Carlsbad had lots of solid, fast rounds and placings for their first show of the year in the .90 Jumpers and the Newstride OTTB class! Carlsgood Kate Heikkila and Kipling were so brave and got out of their comfort zone showing for the first time on grass and their first time showing at 1m in the grandprix ring! They even competed in the big grandprix on Saturday where they jumped clear but had one time fault! So proud of Kate and her little homebred Mowgli! Macartney Tonello-Greenfield and Signature AB literally just slayed the 1m Jumpers this week with receiving double championships, 6 class wins, 3rd in the big Accumulator class and they were 2nd in the $5000 Grandprix on Saturday! Denali is the best Unicorn out there! So proud of all my girls and the partnerships they have with their horses! Special shout out to Sam Samantha Aird , Justine Rapier, David Johnston and Eskye for joining us this week at the show! So fun to have you with us! And Ofcourse our wonderful barn family who came out to cheer everyone on! Next up a little break and then SRC, Campbell Valley HT and Island 22 HT!! See more

Hey All! Sorry I haven’t posted to our barns FB page in quite a while as the barn as a group has had a late start to our 2019 show season. That being said we are rocking and rolling now while loving every minute of getting out with our loved 4 legged partners! Here are some pictures of the ABE crew out and about this year so far at Michelle’s Weddding, getting VIP treatment at Thunderbird Show park for the Longines Grandprix and then either showing or schooling out at MREC..., A and T equestrian, The Delta Riding Club, Island 22, Joe Brown Park, Pacific Country, Countrylane, Campbell Valley Park and Aspen Farms! We are very excited to continue working towards crushing our goals for the rest of our 2019 Show season! Next up on the list for us this summer is: SRC 2 3/4 Phase MREC Mrs T Horsetrials Milner Downs H/J show SRC H/J show Campbell Valley Horsetrials Island 22 Horsetrials + a bunch more XCountry schooling outings! Come out and audit the Chelan Kozak clinic we are hosting this weekend from 10-4:30 Saturday and Sunday at Herron Bay Stables!

Raven our newly adopted 6 month old filly arrived this past Sunday evening! She is such a doll and is just PERFECT! She walked off the trailer like she owned the place and became instant friends with our 1.5 year old colt Chief! So excited to raise these two over the years and see what little rockstars they will become!

Team ABEquestrian had a wonderful time at the 2018 Delta Riding Club Year End Banquet! Shout out to Pam Brouchu and Signature AB (Denali) for dominating the awards ceremony tonight winning the 2018 - Xrail Division Champion - Xrail Hunter Champion... - Equitation Champion - Aggregate Hunter Champion - Members Choice Most Improved Rider!!! Way to go Pam and Denali ! Also I am so honored to have won the Wayne Schiewe Memorial award for 2018 for Supporting and Encouraging Youth Members Thank you Delta Riding Club for a great 2018 Show season!

Thank you is not enough to the special little black stallion Teewah! After 4 years it was time for him to go back home with his lovely owners the Corsan family who were so generous to share him with us all that time! Lauren learnt SO much from him... from the bumpy road at the beginning with Tee trying to dump little Lauren constantly! To working threw it and growing together to win championship after Championship in Eventing and in the Jumper ring... their Dressage improved greatly over the years but he always had to put his own little flair to it so we all knew how he really felt about it! As a Coach he always made me trust in him, smile/laugh and was always game for whatever crazy idea we had! He was absolutely perfect in his own special way... haha! Love you Tee! Thank you for everything little buddy we Miss you already!! Xoxo

Horse hoarder alert.... after weeks of waiting to find out who they were going to pick as a suitable home for this little 6 month old filly they chose US! Her momma and brothers were wild horses rescued in January off a meat truck leaving the reservation going to slaughter. She was they born on April 18 2018 at the rescue organization that took them all in! They have done a great job raising her and we are so thrilled that they trust us to take her in! We are still waiting t...o pick a final name for the little lady but the front runner so far has been Raven as someone pointed out the flying bird marking on her side! So excited for Chief to have someone his own age to grow up and play with! Fingers crossed that she can come home to us from Vernon on Wednesday! See more

Horse Friends Please Share! Special pony looking for a special home! Mickey is a 13 year old 13hh pony gelding located in Delta BC. ... This competitive pony requires a calm rider with patience. It takes him a while to trust in someone on the ground and under saddle, but once he does this pony will move heaven and earth to please you. He is affectionately known as Kawasaki 50cc as he is a more forward ride. He has experience previously showing and winning in the pony hunters in Manintoba. We have had him in training for just over a year and with consistency he has blossomed into a Little Rock star event pony! He did CVHT at starter level placing 4th and competed pre entry (2’6) at Island 22 and Mrec (where he finished 2nd). Every Dressage judge has LOVED him as he is quite fancy on the flat! On top of that he will stand for hours in the crossties being brushed and bathed, hauls very well and is amazing and confident on trail rides! He did the Tbird gateway shows this past winter showing in the jumper ring and has Xcountry schooled all over the lower mainland doing all the lower level eventing questions up to Entry level (2’9) without batting an eye.... ditches, banks up and down, water complexes, all the different shaped Xcountry fences and coffin lines no problem! He walks off the trailer like he owns the place and gets to work no matter what the location. Even though he is little guy he has ponied big and small horses in the arena on the trail and doesn’t miss a beat. No kick, bite or rear and he is great being turned out with other horses. Asking price is $6500 obo. His owner top priority is an appropriate and ideal home for him knowing his past. We are also open to a lease to own situation for the correct match. We would love for him to find a long term final home where he can continue to do things he loves! A little throwback to when these 3 were munchkin status over 4 plus years ago on the 3 trickiest/hard to ride ponies to ever exist! Proud of their hard work and dedication to the sport... they have truly grown into amazing riders and I’m pretty proud of them and what they have all accomplished!

The Beth Underhill Clinic was such a great learning experience start to finish for auditors and riders! I’m so thrilled for my client Macartney to get to take advantage of this rare opportunity to ride Denali with her childhood mentor! Macartney and Denali represented the ABE team so well with her willing to listen and absorb what Beth had to say and then put it into play.... the results were spot on. Denali and Macartney have become such a solid strong team together over t...he last two years and this is just another experience to bring them that much closer to future goals! Also I had quite the blushing fan girling moment tonight when I read Beth’s Compliment on facebook this evening... I just had to share!!
