**Case Study** Angel got home after a misadventure, sporting an unfortunate wound on her hind leg. We attempted to pin the broken bones in the foot in hopes of saving it, but unfortunately we had to make the decision to amputate due to infection and inadequate blood supply. Throughout the entire process of daily wound management and surgery, Angel was an absolute...angel and we are so happy to report that she is doing very well adjusting to life minus one limb #angelthecat #tripodcat #9livesandcounting #3leggedcat

We have now moved forward into Phase Two of the provincial plan for businesses in BC! Our clients are now permitted, in a limited fashion, into the clinic and into the exam room during the examination for their pets. We are controlling the flow of the visits very carefully, with all clients required to wear a mask while in the confines of the exam rooms (we supply one if you don't have one) and there is no waiting in the waiting area of the clinic. We ask that only one, or... maximum two people, attend an exam with your pet. We have implemented a pager system for everyone to be able to wait outside of the clinic or in their vehicles. Thank you to all of our clients for their cooperation. It has enabled us to provide a more normalized experience for both you and your pets. We will be continuing to function in this manner for the next while. It has been great to have our clients be able to see the inside of our newly renovated and expanded facility.
Veterinary friends: this video we’ve created for you to share with your clients is a love letter from us to you. We’ve watched in awe and gratitude for the past... 6 months as you all have given everything you’ve got - and then some - to care for your community’s pets in the face of a pandemic. We hope this video will help you share your story with your clients, so they can better understand and appreciate the unprecedented challenges you’ve faced and how they may have affected their recent experiences with your practice. Most importantly, it reinforces that while some of your approaches may have changed, your commitment to your patients hasn’t wavered. Thank you for everything you do, every single day. - Your friends at VINx www.vin.com/VINx #veterinary #veterinarian #vetmed #vettools

A picture is worth a thousand...quills? Watch out porcupines, Apollo is quite pleased with himself!
Since COVID-19, we have experienced a great increase in the need for appointments, procedures and surgery. Our goal is to provide quality medical care in a timely manner; however, no-shows and late arrivals affect others who also need to access our veterinary care. We send out email reminders or call to confirm the day before your appointment. If you cannot attend, or are more than 15 minutes late, please call to reschedule; it allows us the ability to see other pets in need #manythanks

We want to thank all of our clients for their patience and understanding with the changes we implemented during the COVID-19 crisis. We are getting organized to move forward with "Phase Two" and very soon we will be allowing our clients into the clinic with their pets. Please look for direction when you come; still phone us when you arrive, as we will be limiting the number of people in the clinic for the first little while. Please stay home if you have a fever or if you ar...e experiencing other symptoms of illness. You will be asked to wear a mask while within the confines of the exam rooms and there will be no waiting in waiting areas of the clinic. We will supply masks if you don't have one, and hand sanitizers for everyone. We truly appreciate everyone's co-operation in helping us keep you and our staff safe. We look forward to having you see the inside of our newly renovated clinic soon! See more
