December Market Report is in! Toronto showing the strongest condo sales between the regions. Investors are taking advantage of the many units to choose from and rare bidding wars. Don't expect this trend to continue. Durham has the lowest average for Days On Market with a new property listing being sold at 13 days and this is during a pandemic! Durham's average price for a home is helping that drive with it being the lowest of the regions currently. ... Peel region can lay claim to the most semi detached homes sold in December with 246. York region holds the record for December 2020 as having the most detached homes sold at 747. With mortgage rates as low as they are and seeing the market performing as it is, it's hard to believe that this is happening during a pandemic. The spring/summer market I believe will be breaking records and looking at the numbers for December, it's a good indicator that there's no slowing down!
