A person who looks busy is actually wasting time. The biggest difficulty in finishing most tasks is starting them. 1. At the end of each work day, write down the six most important tasks you need to accomplish tomorrow. 2. Prioritize those six tasks in order of their importance.... 3. Next day, Work until the first task is finished before moving on to the second task. 4. Transfer any unfinished items to a new list of six tasks for the following day. 5. Repeat this process every working day.

You’re not talking to me, you’re talking about me - when discussing performance, talk to your employee! And remember, performance coaching is not a Google review. #leadershipandmanagement

There are so many small business groups out there. Everybody are talking about networking and sharing ideas, but in fact these groups are mostly used for advertising services and products. One would assume that when you need a contractor to fix your backyard, you’ll contact business owners in these groups to request a quote. In reality, people will ask for a recommendation in their Community group and most likely will hire a contractor based on received recommendations. Why?...?? Trust is the key! Would you agree??? #smallbusinesspromotion #networkingskills #businessownership https://youtu.be/jwo-ZwQhOHI

Toxic employees need more of your attention, and tend to create more toxic workers. So it is critical to act on them or remove them. But to decide your next action you must clearly understand what is happening and whether it is coachable or not. 1. The Hot Mess. Have you ever encountered any redundant health & safety rules? Even those people who are hardworking and conscientious about every other aspect of their jobs can have a Poor Safety Attitude. They may take shortcuts not because they are lazy but because they want to get the work done more quickly. ... Remember, though, that IGNORING SAFETY in order to get a job done more quickly is likely to cause accidents and injuries that slow down production more than working safely in the first place. 1. Keep your mind focused on the job at hand. Put aside any personal problems that have been bothering you so that you can watch for hazards and accomplish what you have set out to do. 2. Don’t give in to pressure from your co-workers to be unsafe. You don’t have to join in with horseplay, take shortcuts, or participate in cover-ups. 3. Report all accidents and near misses, even if they seem unimportant at the time. 4. Understand why an accident occurred to avoid making the same mistake twice. 5. Always follow safe work practices and wear any personal protective equipment (PPE) that you are required to wear. 6. Practice good housekeeping. Keep your work area free of clutter, and clean up spills promptly. 7. Be considerate of your co-workers. Don’t do anything that would endanger them. #safety #production #training #interviewtips
