We hope you're all dancing and moving your way into the New Year - in whichever way you can! We're thinking back to our great parking lot sessions and outdoor programs and we can't wait to be back together again!
If you're living with a disability or know someone living with #disability, please share our NEW survey! If you participated before, please consider taking the survey again to help us assess change throughout the pandemic for #PeopleWithDisabilities: http://www.disabilitysurvey.ca/
Wishing all who celebrate Hanukkah a wonderful holiday throughout the Festival of Lights!
Thrive's Holiday Cards are now up for sale! It's a wonderful way to celebrate and give back this season by sending Thrive Holiday Cards to loved ones and friends! Thrive is an initiative focused on enabling individuals with disabilities the opportunity to spend the day in an inclusive and supportive environment, where they engage in meaningful programming in the areas of life skills, art, sports & fitness and social recreation. Each card was uniquely designed by one of our p...articipants especially for you. All proceeds from card purchases will go directly back into the Thrive program to help support implementation, activities and fun! All Thrive Card purchases will be completed online this year with in-person/curbside pick up available! Please click the link below, fill your cart with you desired cards and pay online. You will receive a follow up email within 48hrs of your order with information regarding pick up times and process. Happy Holidays! Have you experienced #ACVirtualWorld? It's our new online membership with new videos uploaded weekly for you to move along with us at home! The videos offer standing & seated variations with different levels of intensity. Find what moves you by joining us: https://abilitiescentre.org/classes-schedu/ac-virtual-world
Throughout the year, our post-rehabilitation participants went above and beyond to keep up their hard work during the pandemic through virtual videos. When you donate on #GivingTuesdayCA, you help keep these classes available for those who need it most: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/abilities-centre/
We are 1 week away from #GivingTuesday2020. These are difficult times for all. More than ever, our charity needs your support so we can continue to give opportunities to our program participants and most vulnerable populations. You can donate anytime but on December 1, your donation of $20 or more will be topped up with an extra $2 from CanadaHelps! Learn more about our impact:... https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/abilities-centre/ See more
