**BINGO IS NOW FULL. ** Boozhoo Families, Sorry for the short notice. Happening Thurs. Sept. 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. Wanda Nahdee
One of 3 monach butterflies we raised from eggs that were released today in our garden. This one is a male monach - males have black spots on their bottom part of their wings. He is enjoying the butterfly bush and black eyed susan flowers.
So i bought out another one that who's chrysalis was transparent and barely caught this on video!! Wow! So cool!! Wish we could have all done this together in the playroom. Next year friends!
Well i went away for half hour and BAM!! She came out!! We're all VERY excited here!!
Well we ended up with 7 monarch caterpillars. All of which have gone into their chrysalis. You can see the pretty green, black and gold colours! If you look closely you can see their transformation. The last one just might be ready to emerge as a monarch butterfly very soon!!! Then we will know for sure what they are - boy, girl or the special monarch that make the migration (fly to Mexico). Will keep you updated.
