While admiring my baby granddaughter ‘reading’ her Bible, this thought came to my mind: Do I study the Word as intently as she is looking at this page of her Bible? God wants us to chase after Him with ALL our hearts, and part of that is being found in the Word. Studying and learning and growing closer to Him. If you would like to grow deeper in your walk with God and dig deeper in study, contact our office, we would love to help!! #StudyTheWord #Equip #Educate... #Train #BetterTogether #TomorrowsLeaders #IndigenousMinistry #IndigenousLeaders See more

In the 20th century, an estimated 12,000 Indigenous Peoples Served Canada, with at least 500 paying the ultimate sacrifice. On National Aboriginal Veterans’ Day, we remember those who Served and still Serve today. #LestWeForget #WeWillRememberYou

Just received absolute confirmation today that our annual trip to Northern Quebec for the Quebec Native Women’s Retreat has been canceled for 2020. We are extemely disappointed as this is one of our favourite weekends of the year.. Now we miss out on a chance to catch up and visit with all of our Northern friends. These ladies are HUGE supporters of ABA and this weekend tends to be our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year! We love and appreciate each one of you Stay healthy ladies, see you next year! #Equipping #Educating #Training #IndigenousLeaders #NationWide #Partners #AcrossCanada #BetterTogether

____ Here is some news about one of the two organizations we sponsor, ABA, Aboriginal Bible Academy: Due to physical distancing and travel restrictions, ABA has had to adapt to these realities while continuing to provide a service to its students who are located across Canada. Virtual meetings/classrooms are now seen as a great alternative for times when in-person presence is not possible. In early fall, in northern Quebec, the '' Native Women’s Retreat '' usually takes place. They ask us to pray for them so that this vital event is not affected by the restrictions and can take place. We ask you to keep Pastor Dan Collado, his wife and all the students in your prayers. It is always possible to make a donation in order to help support ABA financially. You can do this during Sunday sermon at CCVV, by contacting Pastors James and Anne Yank or through a e-transfer. We thank you very much for your generosity and your prayers.
I love this graphic... how many of us are like little this little girl? Holding onto our little treasure with no idea how BIG a gift God is holding on to for us? What are you holding onto and not trusting God with?? Give it over to Him today, you have no idea how BIG a blessing He might have in store!! God’s Blessings are immeasurable, Trust Him today #BlessingsAreAbundant #BigGifts #GodsIsFaithful #HisGiftIsImmeasurable #HisLoveIsRelentless #HeLovesYou #JustAsYouAre
Like me, I’m sure many of you had dreams and ideas of what 2020 was going to look like.. plans were made, dreams were hoped for; but none of us had envisioned what the past number of months had in store. 2020 has not looked like we had hoped, BUT! If we let go of what we had thought 2020 was going to look like and embrace what we have for 2020, I’m sure there’s lots of beauty and moments to be remembered and treasured. So, instead of complaining about the current world climate, whether that be the pandemic, the economy, kids going back to school, or yes, even the mask mandate, choose to look for the positive in each day. Get out there and enjoy the sunshine, enjoy your family and make memories... 2020 isn’t all bad #2020 #ItsNotAllBad #MakeTheBestOFIt #FindJoy #LetItGo
