Our company is currently seeking an Office Manager/bookkeeper/controller to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our busy Pools, spa & landscaping company. Our retail location and office is in Carleton Place, which is where the successful candidate will be based. Primary responsibility will be bookkeeping, payroll, A/R & A/P but will be responsible for a variety of other tasks, including, monitoring CVOR & licensing, reviewi...ng insurance, implementing human resources policies and procedures, and occasionally assisting on the sales floor, just for fun! Effective immediately, we are going to significantly modify our hours to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. For the next couple of weeks (at least...we will reassess then), the store will only be open on Tuesdays from 11am-7pm and Thursdays from 9am-5pm. Saturdays we will play by ear and if we are open, we will be open 10am-2pm. The phones and emails will be checked regul...arly throughout the day, everyday, so if you need anything at all, just leave a message or send us an email. We will get back to you as soon as we can. We can arrange deliveries as well. We thank you so much for your patronage and for your understanding this decision to help keep our staff and you safe. We are, however, taking extra precautions to secure the safety of all of our customers and staff. We will be sanitizing common surfaces such as doors, counters, etc. regularly throughout the day!! If you need anything at all, and would rather stay at home, we will gladly deliver chemicals, parts, etc. (free of charge) to your door!! We sincerely hope all of the Above and Beyond family of customers and staff are healthy and coping with the current uncertainties. With the new Government of Ontario rules for business, we want to keep you posted on immediate changes to our operating procedures and we want to offer our thanks for your continued support. Our retail store is closed as a place to shop in the traditional fashion. We are able to serve you through telephone or email orders only. In the past cou...ple of weeks we've been smoothly filling lots of "curbside pickup" orders, which we will remain delighted to fill. As we do not have an online "shopping cart" system, the procedure is a little bit old-fashioned but it works! Call ahead at 613-257-2117 or email and we will prep & pack the order for you. Pickup hours are 10:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday and Thursday with orders having to be in by Sunday evening at 7:00PM (for Monday pick up) and Wednesday evening at 7:00PM (for Thursday pickup). Our water testing lab is CLOSED until further notice. Note that we do not presently accept cash; credit payment or etransfers only. Our service department offers product deliveries. We've lowered our price for deliveries (in town are free). If you want goods brought to your door, call ahead and we'll be happy to pack up your staples and bring them to you on scheduled days. We are no longer going inside customer homes. Our service coordinators will be checking regularly for phone messages as well as checking emails. We are not seeing clients in person at present, please call or email: [email protected]. Opening Season: We plan to operate as closely to normal as allowed when opening season hits, with respect to supplying pool products and providing opening services. Several customers have indicated concern as to whether we will be allowed to resume normal retail operations or work on swimming pools come May, and, short answer; we just don't know. In light of uncertainty, of when quarantine conditions will lift, we are suggesting that concerned customers get their pool supply orders in now (for pickup or delivery). We plan to start pool openings as soon as allowed, and the order in which service was booked will be scrupulously followed; if you booked early, you will get your pool opened at the head of the queue, but we ask that you remain patient with respect to the exact date and time as the Covid-19 situation resolves itself. If you want to go ahead and book service, by all means call us, but please respect that dates assigned for pool work are, at present, an approximation based on multiple unknowns. Good evening everyone. As we are sure you are aware, the government has all non-essential businesses under a mandatory shut down by tomorrow at midnight. If you happen to need chemicals or a water test done, we will be open tomorrow! If you don’t want to come in to the store, call ahead and we can put your order through on your credit card, bag up your order and drop outside for you to take home. We have to shut the store down by tomorrow, but we will be checking the phon...e and emails daily in case there is an emergency. If something happens during this shut down, and you need chemicals or a service done, just leave a message and we will call you ASAP. We will try to arrange a delivery or service for you. We will get as much information as possible over the phone (including what you need, where the issue is located, payment information, etc. so that we don’t have to have any physical contact.
