Part of this @vintagecoutureshowroom dress repair is rolling the rose montees and stitching them in the other direction, to hold them in place. See the cross on the backside? Yesterday, this is what I was facing. The beading repairs to the upper part of the dress are complete but I have to say that between our stay at home order and the news of the world, this section of the dress got me a little overwhelmed...that is until today. Today there is hope, especially for our neighbors to the south..and progress on that little section of the dress!

Whats been on my table this week? From all of the loose thread and beads (pic 1) to this! (pic 2). Thread gets so brittle over time so almost all of the beads have to be reinforced but soon this beautiful dress will be back @vintagecoutureshowroom, ready to leave the nest!
