The Chums are running!!! We’re getting lots of action already with hard fighting Chums and some nice Coho mixed in. An early indicator for what should be a great October

Father and son fishing at its finest. Geoff Wickstrom & his dad, Gordon kicked off the day with this great doubleheader in the first five minutes and brought several other Chinook and some Coho to the boat. Quality times like this can’t be better!

Happy Birthday Sue. We had quite a day with several Chinook fought, some slipped the hook and she landed a couple of nice ones up to the 80cm maximum...then Walter hit After a long battle Sue landed her bucket list fish, we tailed & released this (estimated) 34 pound Tyee!!! Following up with releasing another mid teens Chinook she had this bald eagle grab the bait which we released unharmed Epic way to spend a birthday on the water, congratulations Sue!

A perfect day for fishing with Tom, Jen & Brit from Alberta enjoying lots of action and landing some great fish including this 18 lb Chinook, a 12 lb chrome Chum and a few big Coho!

What a great afternoon with the crew from SoCal Restaurant in Campbell River coming out for a whale watching/fishing combo. Captain Connie tagged the big one of the group and we all enjoyed hanging out with the Orcas too (sorry, no pics) A shout out to Dean from 50 North Adventures for organizing the day, everyone had a great time, nice to see local businesses supporting each other in these crazy times Couldn’t ask for a better day with a great group and perfect weather!

While today’s weather wasn’t the usual nice summer day the fish didn’t mind. Russ Tremblay & Al Finnbogason with a couple nice Chinook from right in front of town this afternoon
