What has the darkest tan, is usually (partially) covered in animal print, has a feisty attitude and a wicked sense of humor? CANDICE! Today is her retirement from salon life. After 4 years with us (and over 11 years as friends), she is trading the scissors for a pitchfork, the leopard print for Carhartt brown and the high heels for gumboots! ... We love her and we will miss her and we will laugh at her when she calls us crying smelling like chicken... well you know. And to all you doubters out there, she is one of the strongest and hardworking girls we know. So rest assured she will throw hay bales as fast as she can throw you a sarcastic comment, and run a tractor like she can run her mouth! (And we mean that in the most loving way!) Haha!!! Abstract Salon Policies for Covid 19: 1. Please arrive alone for your appointment, unless you are a parent or someone needing assistance. (One child per parent.)... 2. We no longer have a seating area, only one client to one stylist in the salon at a time. 3. When you arrive, please wait outside front door or in your car until your stylist greets you at the door to come in. 4. Once youre welcomed in, it will be mandatory we all wear masks. (If you do not have one, we will have one for you to purchase.) 5. We have a hand washing station and sanitizer for you to use upon entry. 6. We cannot offer beverages, magazines or a coat rack. Please bring what you need to be comfortable during your appointment, but limit as much as you can. 7. You will be asked a series of health questions upon arrival. We ask you, if youre feeling sick or sniffly in any way, to please cancel, and we will do our best to reschedule you as soon as possible. 8. Once at your station, we ask you to remain in the chair (other than using the restroom) or at the shampoo basin when asked. We, of course as the stylists, will provide clean capes, towels, and thorough sanitization and disinfectant measures between each appointment. This will limit the amount of clients we can take in a day, and gives us lots of time to have the highest standards of cleanliness in the salon. Due to the extreme increase in our costs with PPE and supplies, we will be having a price increase. We are sorry about this, but its the only way to keep Abstract clean and safe! Please consult with your stylist if you have questions regarding this. Us girls are always excited to see you, and even with all these rules in place, we will make your appointment as comfortable and pleasant as possible! We love to make you laugh and smile!

Good Morning!!! I am pleased to announce that our closed order has been lifted!! We will be opening our doors on June 2nd! I will have a write up on here of the guidelines that you the client and us stylists MUST follow. We will also discuss these with you when you book your appt! As for bookings, we will start this Tuesday. Once again our first priority will be booking the clients we had to cancel March/April due to lockdown, then we will move down our list. As for our beauty Candice, who is still in Panama, we still have no info on when they can get back, and her time line when she does. So at this point we are not booking Candice appts. Still havent heard Salon safety protocols or dates. Still crossing our fingers for the end of the month! Once we know more, we will update, so we can start the booking process!

Our dearest friends! We got word today we will be in phase two of opening! With that being said, until we know our rules, restrictions and protocols from Work Safe BC, we will not be booking appts yet. Once we have all info, (hopefully early next week) we will start the booking process! Our first priority, will be the few clients we had to cancel when we got locked down, and go from there. Please be patient, this is going to get silly for us in the next week or so, but we will be working and getting shop up to standards as fast as we can. We are hoping by the end of the month. We are so excited to see you all, and will work as much as we can to get everyone feeling like their amazing selves again! Cheers!! See you all soon!!

Friends, we just wanted to touch base with you guys as some people have been asking.... We are going to remain open on a day to day basis unless we are instructed otherwise. There are only two of us stylists in on one day at the most this month (often we will be alone). This will limit the amount of people in the salon at once. Obviously our capes, chairs and tools will be washed/ sprayed between each guest and door knobs and pin pads sprayed as well. We’re going to remove m...agazines and our sink and soap is always available to everyone. We will ask anyone with a sniffle or a cough (including us) to rebook for a later time. If you have any concerns or suggestions please let us know and thanks for letting us continue to do what we love
