AB Strongman/Strongwoman CAASA-ACAFA

There's been some questions about using grip shirts for this years provincial event. We will allow the use for two events. The max circus dumbell and for atlas stones. The squat axles will have hockey tape on them for grip. The reason we don't want athletes wearing grip shirts for every event is we want to have event shirts displayed for all of our sponsors and recognition of the event.

Please note that the registration for Alberta provincial will closed on August 1st! You must have a valid membership card and registrer on ACAFA-CAASA website! Thanks a lot

Hello all Alberta athletes. As the CAASA has announced we are allowed to proceed with this years provincial championship. We are working on trying to abide by all of the Covid guidelines for this event. This is proving to become difficult so please be patient. As of right now the event will be held August 22nd in Fort McMurray. There has been talk of having it in Spruce Grove but we are not sure at this time if we can have it at the Tri Leisure centre for they are opening in... phases as well. We have been considering this due to: 1) both competitions being so close together 2) it being convenient having it in the middle of the province for everyone. But that said it does seem more than likely we will be keeping it in Fort McMurray as initially planned for this year. Within the next couple of weeks we will know for certain. Everyone get a good 2 months of training in because there will be a show!
