Delivery Person is well suited for anyone that is outgoing, energetic, and enjoys being outside and active all year long. This role involves driving a pick-up truck, and can move up to driving a 5-ton flat deck truck with roll offs and pickup trucks. NOTE: VALID CLASS 5 DRIVERS LISENCE REQUIRED (Air Brakes Endorsement a bonus) About Us:... We provide various tools and equipment used in construction for projects like residential & commercial renovations, building maintenance, landscaping, new construction of multi-unit town homes, and Hi-rise construction. Wheeled machine vs tracked, what’s the difference? Which one do you need? Here’s a few pointers on each to compare and help you choose: Wheeled:... Better on uneven, hard ground such as compact ground, paved ground and landscape sites. Wheeled machines are faster and more efficient on flat ground sites. Wheeled machines work better going over curbs or rough edges where tracks could be damaged. Wheels also wear less on hard surfaces compared to tracks. Tracked: While wheels prefer compact surfaces, tracks prefer the challenging, difficult surfaces such as mud, sand, and snow where a wheeled machine might get stuck. Improved stability as the tracks allow for the weight to be better dispersed over a larger surface area compared to wheels. This allows for more traction making it easier to do grade work and scoop the fullest bucket of material. You also get lower ground pressure per square foot. 6 Tips to Operate Your Boom Lift Safely: 1. Read and understand the Operator's Manual. 2. DO your inspection and function tests before each work shift, it is in the regulations to do so. (if you leave the machine and come back to it later, you must do this again even if you took the key and are sure no one operated while you were away. BE AWARE of potential tail swing depending on the unit you are operating. 6. DO be aware of power lines in your area and find out the voltage and maintain required clearance.
