As you are aware, Fleming College closed all campuses until further notice in an effort to reduce the number of people on campuses and minimize the transmission... of COVID-19 within the (college or broader) community. We know how important completing the semester and having access to services is for you. The College has transitioned most academic programs and student services, that were not already available online, into virtual and alternative delivery formats. Accessing programs and services in this new way will take effect on Monday, March 23 and faculty will connect with students directly. This change is big for all of us one that would not be possible without the tremendous spirit and collaboration of our students, faculty, staff and others. Faculty and staff have been working very hard to prepare for this transition. We recognize that it is not going to be easy for all students and all programs, and that this may be a challenging time. Everyone at the College is committed to supporting you but it will look and feel different than what you are familiar with. We know that we will need to adjust along the way to best address needs or concerns that are identified. Your constructive feedback will be important. We will continue to evolve our programs and services to ensure you have the best opportunity to complete the semester. These are stressful and uncertain times, but please know that you are not alone. Support services are available virtually via the phone, email or online tools, and can be found here (https://flemingcollege.ca/covid19) or through the student portal (https://mycampus.flemingcollege.ca/). If you are feeling distressed and require immediate assistance, please reach out to https://realcampus.ca/ at 1-877-390-7325 or Good2Talk by phone 1-866-925-5454 or text GOOD2TALKON to 686868. Please do not hesitate to reach out for help if you need it. All available student service supports and more information on COVID-19 can be found here https://flemingcollege.ca/covid19 and on your student portal. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, the College will continue to make future decisions about upcoming events. Updates will continue to be provided to the College community as available. We thank you for your patience, understanding and support as we tackle this new challenge together.

CORONA-VIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE: A message to staff and students: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve rapidly. Educational institutions in Ontario are announcing class cancellations or shifts to online learning as a measure to maintain public safety and lower risk.... Fleming College is announcing the following actions in response to help maintain safe and healthy communities in our region: Classes are suspended from 12:00 p.m. Friday March 13 to Tuesday March 17 (inclusive) at all Fleming College campuses and learning sites. This period of time will allow faculty, staff and administration time to prepare to deliver course content in alternative ways. Starting Wednesday, March 18 and for the remainder of the Winter semester (Friday April 17), Fleming will begin to offer classes in online or alternative delivery formats. Students and employees should note the following: Any exams or assignment due dates between noon on Friday and Wednesday March 18th will be rescheduled. All campuses and all college buildings will remain open. Services and facilities such as the learning resource centres, libraries, recreation centres, food services and health services all remain open. College residences will remain open and operational. Students can access our campuses, but if they do not need to, they are encouraged to study from home. Students should continue to attend their placements unless other arrangements have been made by the college or the employer. Employees are expected to come to work as usual and talk with their manager about any issues related to the measures we are taking. The college is taking these precautions to maintain a safe and healthy community for all. While we recognize that these actions will create uncertainty and inconveniences, we will do our best to answer any questions you have as soon as possible. Updates will be posted to this web page: www.flemingcollege.ca/covid19 Please direct any questions to: [email protected] and follow our social channels: Facebook Twitter Instagram Maureen Adamson President
